Anne Nordhaus-Bike, "Astrologer Anne," is president of ANB Communications, a consulting, communications, and arts firm specializing in media and public relations, writing and editing, astrology, and art. Over the years, Anne has won more than a dozen writing, art, and communications awards, including an international award for astrological writing. Also an artist, she began exhibiting her work in 1998. In 2012 she published her astrology book, Follow The Sun, which includes her original zodiac watercolors. Since 2013, she has appeared as "Astrologer Anne" on WGN Radio and is a popular guest on other radio stations, podcast programs, and live events. She earned a degree in art history from the University of Chicago and has served in various capacities at the Gazette Chicago newspaper since its founding in 1983, joining its board of directors in 2004.
Anne began her career as a business and technical writer, working at companies such as Ameritech and Dental Products Report. Later, she joined healthcare consulting firm Aon Hewitt, where she earned recognition as a national leader in communication and training and was one of the authors of Fundamentals of Flexible Compensation (John Wiley & Sons, 1992).
During these years, she also helped establish Gazette Chicago, a community newspaper, where she served as fine arts editor for two decades. In 2006, she launched Living in Harmony, an award-winning monthly astrology column for Gazette Chicago that ran for two years. She remains involved with the paper as assistant editor, member of the board of directors, and contributing writer.
She founded ANB Communications in 1993 as a business consulting and marketing communications firm serving Fortune 500 clients such as Accenture and Philips Medical Systems.
In 2002, ANB Communications began its evolution toward offering products and services inspired by Anne's expertise in astrology, fine art, and performing arts.
In 2011, her astrology and art book, Follow The Sun: A Simple Way To Use Astrology For Living In Harmony, was published.
Anne has won several journalism awards and in 1997 was added to the "Wall of Fame" of the National Women's Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls, NY.
