Welcome to 2020, Pisces! Time for a new start!
Friendship, business contacts, and giving back will continue to draw your focus, as they have for a few years.
You'll have time for other pursuits, too. Read on for your guide to 2020.
For years, planets have been piling up in Capricorn, your eleventh house of friends, networking, and altrusim. Pluto came first, entering this space in 2008 (and staying until the mid-2020s). Next came Saturn in late 2018, extra strong here because this planet rules Capricorn. Then, in December 2019, along came Jupiter in Capricorn, adding some fun to what may have felt like an "it's heavy, man!" period in your life.
As 2020 opens, you also have the Sun and Mercury in this house, adding more lightness as well as smarts and joy. That's good news, because up to now you've had to work hard - really hard - to build and nurture better relationships with friends and acquaintances and go out networking to make new friends and business connections. You may have joined a club or two or taken leadership positions in an industry group or at a charitable organization.
Stay with it, Pisces, because what you put into these areas now can pay dividends in your career and international connections as well as your ability to serve others through humanitarian work. For now, "who you know" will remain just as important as "what you know." Jupiter can help you discover the meaning and higher purpose behind all the striving, so leverage this planet's big thinking and faith whenever you need inspiration.
Uranus in Taurus can help, too. Taurus oversees your third house of communication, brothers and sisters, and short trips, and as an earth sign, it's in a good position to support what you're working on in your eleventh house. Let Uranus bring you genius ideas, either from personal insights or suggestions from sibling or something you see while you're out and about in your community. Uranus may shake things up, and you could experience turnabouts and other sudden changes, but ultimately you'll free yourself from outworn ways of communicating (including with family).
Neptune, your ruling planet, has been in your sign since early 2012 and will remain there until the mid-2020s. Although Neptune can be notorious for bringing fogginess and uncertainty, it also casts a magical spell that inspires grand visions, spiritual oneness, and artistic talent. While you have all those planets in Capricorn, use their practicality to manifest your pet projects - especially if you need help from friends or industry connections. Neptune also heals and refines, so you can use this period to attend to health and upgrade your public image, perhaps with a new look or hairstyle.
Since late 2018, the Moon's nodes have been in Cancer and Capricorn, forcing change in friendships and creative pursuits. The nodes indicate where solar and lunar eclipses occur, and they'll shift into Gemini and Sagittarius in May, bringing potentially life altering moments in your tenth house of career (Sagittarius) and fourth house of home and family and real estate (Gemini).
When these houses are affected, often the first house of personality and health and the seventh house of marriage and business ties are affected, too, so you could see changes that ripple across many areas of your life. Not every eclipse will affect you personally - generally, you feel them if they touch a sensitive point in your birth chart. Roll with the winds of change, as eclipses serve to put us light years ahead if we allow ourselves to move on from what we've outgrown.
During May and June, Venus will go retrograde in Gemini, your home and family house, slowing things down and giving you a chance to catch your breath on a home improvement project. If a relative needs help, you may need to revisit the scope of your assistance or find better options. Love and caring (and financial support) may feel in short supply, so go gently with yourself and others.
From September through mid-November, Mars also will go retrograde. This planet goes retrograde least often, and it will do so in its home sign of Aries, which influences your second house of money. Mars is a fiery, volatile planet that gives us drive and determination, but when it's retrograde it feels as if life comes to a stop. Mars hates to slow down, let alone stop, so this can feel frustrating until we accept that we're better off going with the flow.
Things at work could slow down, or spending habits might change or require review. If you have a business, clients may put off signing with you. Take this opportunity to review what you do and why - and whether it still fits with your values. Also, people from the past may return, including former clients and bosses, so be on the lookout for chances to get ahead via old connections (or new projects with former clients).
